Log-In #
With the app installed you can proceed to open it, once opened you will be welcomed by the Log-In screen.
- Type your email tied to the Situm User.
- Insert your password.
- Tap login.

Permissions #
Situm Wayfinding will ask for two permissions when you load your map (1), to access you location (2) and nearby devices (3), please be sure to grant access to Situm Wayfinding to guarantee optimal functions when positioning.



Building Selector #
After the log-in screen a list of building will be displayed, select the building you wish to visualize and it will begin loading. If you wish to load another building, simply tap the Building Name button and a list of the available buildings to the user will be displayed.


Cartography Visualization #
Once a building has been selected it will proceed to show the current uploaded model of the building. For more information on what formats can be used on the Situm Platform please refer to Supported Cartography. At first glance you will be able to observe the cartographic elements that are available to your building (POIs & Paths), geofences are present but given their backend nature are not available to visualize by default on Situm Wayfinding
Positioning Arrow & Center Button #
Once the positioning system has obtained your location, it will proceed to show it with a blue arrow that will represent your orientation as well. The point of view can be centered on the arrow at will, by just tapping the center button it will track the arrow as it makes it way across the building.

Floor Selector #
When the selected building loads, you can visualize any of it’s floors via the Floor selector button, to use it follow the next steps:
- Wait for the building to load
- Tap the floor selector button
- Select your desired floor

Remember that the system will position you automatically in the floor that matches the positioning model of the calibrations. If you wish for the arrow to appear on another floor, you must have it calibrated and then navigate to said floor.
POI Search Bar & POI Category Menu #
Points of Interest (POI) can be visualized directly on the map, but they can also be found by using the Search POI bar at the top of the screen. To search for any POI, just tap the Search Poi and type in the name of the POI you are looking for.

If you wish to visualize more options of any given category, simply tap on any of the categories and select your desired POI. You can aslo visualize and select any sub-categories of the selected parent category.
