Introduction to Situm Wayfinding #
Situm Wayfindiing is an Android & iOS application developed by Situm that will allow you to configure & test Situm in your venues. In the following video you can see a demo of its usage for testing Situm wayfinding in a building.
Download App and requirements #
Please make sure that your smartphone complies with the sensor requirements.
You can download Situm Wayfinding from Google Play Store at the following link. Alternatively, you may find it on Google Play or the Apple App Store by typing “Situm Wayfinding” in the search bar.
Visualize your building cartography #
Situm Wayfinding allows you to explore & visualize all your cartography data, including:
- Buildings. You may see all your buildings listed, with a handy search bar to select any of them.
- Floorplans. You will be able to visualize all the floorplans of every building, for all the floors.
- Points of Interest. On top of each floorplan, Situm Mapping Tool displays all the POIs, each one with a different icon depending on its category.
- Geofences. You will be able to view all the geofences that you have defined in your building.
- Wayfinding Paths. You can visualize different routes to the POIs in your building.
Test Situm positioning and wayfinding #
Finally, you will be able to test the Situm indoor and outdoor positioning and accuracy. On top of that, you will be able to test the navigation paths that you have configured for your building, by computing routes from point A to B and receiving turn-by-turn instructions (text and voice) while you move around your building.
iOS Version #
You can access all the features listed before in the iOS version aswell, by downloading the app you can start to test positioning & wayfinding, as well as cartography visualization.

- Make sure that your iOS device is compatible with Situm.
- Search for Situm Wayfinding on the App Store.
- Install the iOS app.
