Geofence stay time reports to audit security and surveillance work

The polygonal geofencing tool developed by Situm allows the precise delimitation of areas to obtain more control and information about the activities that take place in them. This feature and the analytics that complement it are very useful for a variety of sectors. How can we apply them to the security sector?

More transparency with the client when auditing the service

In the case of security, polygonal geofences make it possible to delimit areas to be monitored with the necessary precision to know and prove, for example, how many times an officer has passed through a particular area and how long they have stayed there.

One of the latest targets of our updates has been our geofence analytics. We have not only made them easier to use but also increased their capacity and functionalities.

There is no doubt that, for better surveillance, we need to have as much control as possible over the facilities. Highly accurate polygonal geofences make it possible to obtain analyses that reflect data on the stay of agents in each area for the internal organisation and subsequent auditing:

  • Selection of data in time ranges up to one year.
  • Selection of one or several geofences, of one or several buildings, to obtain statistics about time spent in each zone, and to be able to evaluate modifications in the service, eliminate duplications, etc.
  • User search engine to find out how long a guard or employee has been in a specific geofence.
  • Graphics that allow visual interpretation of these data.
