Online presentation of the SARATROF project: Analytical System for the Aggregate Performance of Workers and Robots in Manufacturing Operations

This coming Tuesday, December 14th, Situm will participate in the online presentation of the SARATROF project (Analytical System of the Aggregate Performance of Workers and Robots in Manufacturing Operations), an initiative of GAIASTECH, the innovation area of the Xunta de Galicia.

This collaborative project is part of the Conecta Hubs 2021 program, funded by the Axencia Galega de Innovación (GAIN) and has the financial support of the European Union (co-financed by FEDER funds under the Feder Galicia 2014-2020 operational program). It also receives support from the Second Vice-Presidency and the Department of Economy, Business and Innovation of the Xunta de Galicia.

The project, which will be implemented between several technology companies until 2023, intends to create an analytical tool to characterise the performance of factories by aggregating the behaviour of robots, machines, IT systems and employees themselves, to increase the competitiveness of production.

At next Tuesday’s online event, participating companies, including Situm, along with Ednon, Ancora, Ledisson and BETA Implants, will present the kick-off of the project. Aimed at the IT sector, whether related to the industry or not, the presentation will also outline the benefits sought during this process, such as the integration of 4.0 tools through an interoperable meta-platform and the achievement of combined insights and synergies.

The review of the state of the art indicates that this type of aggregation is entirely innovative. This partnership will seek to validate its real value through experiments deployed in a pilot.

The event will take place next Tuesday, December 14, at 10am. Register through this link (this event will only be in Spanish).
