Situm has been selected by ICEX and Red.es for the Spain Pavilion of Four Years From Now (4YFN), the business platform for the global community of technological startups promoted by Barcelona Mobile World Capital and organized by GSMA in the framework of Mobile World Congress (MWC). From 25 to 27 February at 4YFN Montjuic, Hall M8, Stand T3.13.
Gregory Botanes, Vice President and Chief Growth Officer, expects that the participation in this event will be “a good opportunity to accelerate the growth of the company, facilitating the entry of new investors and expanding the clients portfolio”.
Situm will use the event to introduce Situm WYF, the new module with visual components to integrate wayfinding in APP´s, and Situm MRM, the new multipurpose platform for mobile resource management, developed both with its indoor positioning technology for smartphones with maximum precision and minimum infrastructure. With these new solutions, Situm is taking an important step forward in the implantation of a technology that has already been successfully implemented in thousands of buildings around the world to improve the experience of users in hospitals, shopping centres or airports; to facilitate transit and assistance for people with reduced mobility in different facilities; to optimise work processes in security and cleaning services, or to increase productivity through asset management in 4.0 industries.
The selection of Situm by ICEX and Red.es for the Spain pavilion is a new recognition in addition to the collected during the last year: “Travel Innovator of the Year 2018″ by Phocuswright, the inclusion in “Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Indoor Location Services” as one of the top ten providers worldwide, or its most recent selection as a candidate for the “European Startup Prize for Mobility”, an award backed by the European Parliament and the European Commission.
