Situm starts operations in new continents, through recent agreements signed with partners in Japan, Colombia and other countries, confirming the interest arisen from all over the world in Situm technology.
Situm closes a year in which its system has proved being a reliable and precise product. Its indoor location technology has been installed in 25 medical centers and hospitals, including Lucus Augusti University Hospital, one of the biggest in Europe and the first hospital in the world that has introduced a system of this kind.
The Spanish start-up convinces around the whole world because of its solution that offers maximum accuracy at positioning inside buildings just using the actual infrastructure, without installing new devices. In this way, Situm will begin the new year with presence in Japan, USA and several countries in Latin America.
A proved technology
Last November, Situm had the chance to show the effectiveness of its system at Web Summit, one of the most important technology conferences in the world. Among all the specialized companies at indoor location, only Situm was capable of showing the way its system works in real time.
Situm closes a year of recognition
During 2015, several awards have been given to Situm, all of them recognizing the work of the company team and specially the efficiency of its system. Among all of them, these ones stand out:
- First place at YUZZ
- Chosen one of the 20 best startups at South Summit and one of the 5 strongest ones at “Digital Solutions for Mass Markets” category.
- Selected among almost 1000 european startups projects to join the IMPACT Program.
- Winner of the Galicia Open Future first edition.
- Awared at Elevator Pitch Singularity University.
Situm has also received several prizes in Galicia, such as Spin-off or Galicia Emprende.
