Situm returns to 4 Years From Now (4YFN) in 2017, which will be held at La Fira Montjuic (Barcelona).
The Spanish company will show its indoor positioning technology working live at 4YFN (Hall 8, Stand 21bis), that interested attendants may visit between February 27th and March 1st. During their time at the event, attendants may play SitumGO, an entertaining smartphones game for indoors developed for the occasion with which they will have the chance to win a prize, as well as verify in person the Situm’s technology performance.
Securitas Location: enhancing security with indoor positioning
In parallel with 4YFN, Situm’s technology also will be running at La Fira Barcelona facilities through Securitas Location, a Securitas’s product that allows to know the position of its personnel indoors.
In this way, efficiency and risks management are improved, while security management is articulated innovatively.
Second time at Barcelona
Last year, Telefónica presented its multi-sensor geolocation solution, developed with Situm’s technology. An “innovative solution that will enable customers to improve its positioning in closed spaces, where there is currently no accurate location without position estimation problems”.
