In line with the latest technological advances we have been introducing, we have also been working on an aesthetic and functional redesign of our Dashboard’s sidebar menus. This Dashboard is the web panel to set up your guidance or work team monitoring solutions developed on the Situm IPS indoor positioning platform. In addition to simplifying the menus, we have also aesthetically unified the Tracking and Wayfinding accounts.
The main features in one place
The main difference in design and layout is the Dashboard sidebar. From now on, this is where you can find Situm’s four main features, which were previously distributed between this space and the top bar, in some cases even duplicated:
- Access to the reports of all the buildings in the account. Here you will find all your reports, both those that come by default, such as space usage analytics, heatmaps, geofence stay times, etc. as well as those that you need us to customize for you.
- Real-time access to all account buildings. Explore in real time the locations that are taking place in the building(s) of your account: which users/devices are active and where, and if any alarms have been triggered.
- Access to building management. Here you will find all the buildings of the same account, and you can access them individually to manage the cartography.
- User management. All the users of your account with different filtering options so you can easily find the information you need.
A simpler, but more functional aesthetic
By simplifying the design and organization of this side toolbar, we have managed to improve its usability by increasing the viewing space of the screens, especially on widescreen monitors. In this way, the Tracking and Wayfinding accounts, which previously had some design differences between them, are now aesthetically unified. This redesign also makes it easier to integrate new functionalities that our customers already enjoy, such as round and geopositioned task management and device management.
