Situm has been selected to participate in the Business Factory Auto first edition (BFA) thanks to the project Situm Factory Indoor, an indoor positioning platform for factories.
BFA is a joint initiative driven by the Office of Economy, Employment and Industry of the Government of Galicia, Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Vigo, PSA Group and CEAGA (Galicia’s Automotive Companies Cluster). The aim of the BFA initiative is to identify and impulse automotive specialized projects, as well as to consolidate its transformation in innovative companies.
The Situm’s project is one of the ten chosen to participate in the initiative:

An indoor positioning platform for factories.

A Car Sharing p2p startup.

- A startup dedicated to design, manufacture and commercialize watertightness control equipment for automotive components.
- A startup dedicated to retrofitting (addition of new technology or features to older systems) and precess retro engineering in automotive companies.
- A productive system to detect fails through advance sensors, HPC and Big Data to automotive industrial processes.

Automotive load and components automation and optimization in polyvalent modes of transport.

Collaborative robotics.
VMS Automotive
To manufacturare and commercialize a 100% electro three wheels vehicle.
The BFA initiative will start operating January the 9th at Porto do Molle (Nigrán-Spain) facilities.
