The app enables indoor navigation at the place selected for the event, the Austin Convention Center, a venue with five contiguous column-free exhibit halls with 247,052 sq. ft. of space.
NIWeek 2019 is set to be held from May 20th to 23rd, in Austin, Texas, and will bring together thousands of engineers, scientists, and industry professionals to learn about the new solutions of National Instruments, the global leader in automated test and automated measurement systems.
The place selected for the event is the Austin Convention Center, a venue with five contiguous, column-free exhibit halls with 247,052 sq. ft. of space.
NIWeek Maps, the unofficial maps app for iOS device, has been developed by our partner Point Inside, a global leader indoor mapping, and is powered with Situm indoor location technology.
The app contains the Situm SDK 2.31.0, and its main features are:
- Interactive maps of each floor, with wayfinding to help you get to where you need to go.
- Calculate fastest route to get to a destination booth or room, including between floors.
- Search for any of the 120+ exhibitors to locate their booth(s) on our maps.
- Tap the map on a booth or meeting room to identify the exhibitor.
The app uses Point Inside’s Fusion Wayfinding App code base, which allows the creation of map apps that include indoor navigation functionality while overcoming the high cost of developing a custom app. Point Inside has versions for tradeshow events (such as NIWeek), corporate offices, malls, and hospitals.
If you are going to attend the NIWeek 2019 Convection, download NIWeek Maps at APP Store – Apple and enjoy indoor navigation with accurate indoor user positioning (blue dot) due to its integration with the Situm IPS Platform.
