With Situm Smarth Search engine, you can instantly search any point of interest across the venue.
- Search by name & content: If you know what you’re looking for: just type its name! If you don’t: type a related keyword and our smart search will retrieve the most relevant results according to each POI content.
- List & Map View: See search results both as a scrollable list and as pins on the map.
- Sorted by Distance: Results are ranked based on proximity (e.g., closest restroom shown first).
- Fuzzy Search: Tolerant of typos and partial words (e.g. “caferia” → “Cafeteria”).
- Voice Input: Fully compatible with voice-to-text keyboard input on iOS and Android.

Intuitive categorization
Thanks to Situm Dashboard, you can categorize POIs so that users find them easily:
- POI Categorization: Organize POIs by categories and subcategories (e.g., Food > Cafeteria).
- Multi-Category Support: A single POI can belong to multiple categories, ensuring maximum flexibility (e.g., “Accessible Bathroom” under “Restrooms” and “Accessible Services”).
- Category Filters: Users can tap to filter results by category or subcategory, visualizing them on a scrollable list (sorted by distance) or highlighted on a map.

Our CMS, Situm Dashboard, allows you to easily create Points of Interest and associate them with categories & subcategories. You’ll be able to set up:
- POI name and content, including rich multimedia information (text, images, videos…).
- POI category & subcategory, so users can easily filter the results and find what they’re looking for.
- POI icons, for a fully customized experience, ensuring the visual representation of the POI fully captures it’s meaning.
- POI configurations, such as whether they should be shown on the map, on the search results, whether they should be highlighted with priority over other POIs, etc.
