The event of the French multinational aims for the development of innovations to reach the “plant of the future”.
The PSA Group, one of the largest car manufacturers in the world, has chosen Situm as one of the world’s best startup. Situm has been invited to participate in the Booster Day, the event of PSA that aims for the development of innovations to reach the “plant of the future”.
The Booster Day will congregate the startups with 500 PSA technicians and more than 50 of its providers and partners, in an event with technological demonstrations and collaborative research projects presentations. This congress will be held at Ford Armand Peugeot (Poissy, France), that will take place next September 20th.
Situm Factory Indoor
Situm is attending after having participated in the first edition of the Business Factory Auto initiative (BFA), in Galicia, where PSA Group has a significant presence. The initiative aims to identify projects specialized in the automotive industry.
The Situm project, Situm Factory Indoor, adapts its indoor positioning and navigation technology to locate other elements apart from people and to do so from devices other than a smartphone.
This technology is especially useful for use in factories due to its easy deployment, its accuracy and its capability to work in environments with high electromagnetic interferences.
