The Situm team upgrades the real-time feature for a more complete, fluid, and efficient display of all our clients’ buildings on a single screen, along with users and alarms.
Although this feature is not a new option, the real-time view was divided into two sections of the Dashboard: Global Realtime and Building Realtime. These two screens allowed our customers to see the buildings where they have an indoor geolocation system installed, the located users or devices. However, they needed to switch screens from one building to another and access all the gathered information.
The latest improvements in the Dashboard have unified these screens into one. This upgrade simplifies the process while at the same time increasing the possibilities of obtaining real-time information from the system that our client has deployed.
Visual and management improvements on a single screen
You can see the main change from the first moment you log in to the Dashboard and access the Real Time tab. The global map shows all the buildings in which Situm is deployed, but to navigate between them, you don’t need to switch between different screens, as they will all appear on the map at the same time.
By zooming in or simply clicking on the marker of the building, we can view the building floor plan, all the active users and any alerts that may have been activated.
We have also made visual improvements to the side panel, where we can see which users/devices are positioned at any given moment. Each user will also link to a minimap, placing and centring them on the map even if we haven’t entered any buildings yet.
More real-time information on emergencies: geolocated alarms
These upgrades also modify the alarm display, making it easier to manage them by adding icons if the building has any active alarms. It is now easier to navigate and see active alarms, as the pop-up window will highlight them visually and with a sound. By clicking on the minimap, we can attend to the alert and see exactly where it is occurring.
